Experts in international law from around the world will participate in a seminar exploring legal
mechanisms to prevent war, resolve international conflicts, abolish nuclear weapons and promote
general disarmament. Specific attention will be given to Costa Rica’s role in promoting peace and
disarmament, to related initiatives in other countries, and to progress internationally.
